Description of Position
The position will be to manage our operations in Vientiane, Laos. You will work closely with our local management staff and will be trained by our existing operations manager(s).
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring deadlines are met
- Managing quality control
- Overseeing training of new workers
- Implementation of methodologies to collect new data items
- Generating and implementing ideas to improve productivity and quality
- Input into our analytical process; occasional analysis
Your skills/qualifications:
This job is open to recent university graduates and above.
- Deep knowledge of football/soccer; preferably you have played at a high level (e.g. University level soccer in US)
- Very high level of detail orientation
- Ability to work in a cross cultural environment and manage cross-culturally. Ability to interact and manage people across skill levels
- Desire to live in Laos for one-year (or more)
- Excellent problem solving skills
- If a recent graduate, prefer GPA of 3.5 or above and major in engineering, economics, mathematics or another quantitative field for recent graduates
