Jaeson Rosenfeld, CEO
Jaeson brings experience across a number of important areas including advanced analytics, offshore operations management and software development. Jaeson served as a consultant at McKinsey from 1995-2009 where he worked primarily with McKinsey's economics research think tank, the McKinsey Global Institute. In this capacity he was responsible for creating advanced analytical techniques for economics research and in leading global teams of researchers to apply them. He is also a co-founder of Digital Divide Data, a social enterprise whose mission is to help the world's poorest benefit from Information Technology; DDD currently employees 500 disadvantaged people in its operating centers in Cambodia and Laos. He also owns an e-commerce company. Jaeson earned an undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor and graduate degrees from the London School of Economics and the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University. In his free time he enjoys playing golf, watching sports, and playing with his three kids and three dogs.
Fran Taylor, Director of Operations
Fran, is a graduate of Occidental College with a BA in Economics. He was a collegiate soccer standout winning a pair of first team all conference honors who had a brief but fruitful professional career in the Lao Football league playing alongside and against capped international players. He joined STATDNA at its inception in 2009 training its statistical operations team before marshaling them into STATDNA’s operation’s arm. Fran joined from the Boston Baseball: Field of Dreams project which sought to bring minor league baseball to Boston.
Justin Armes, Director of Client Services
Justin Graduated from Grand Valley State University with a B.S. in Economics and Philosophy. He attended high school in Hong Kong and the United States, where he played Soccer, Rugby, Track, and Golf. He enjoys fishing, golfing, sports and numbers, traveling, and making StatDNA customer happy.
Benjamin Alamar, PhD. Senior Sports Analytics Consultant
Professor Alamar is the founding editor of the
Journal of Quantitative Analysis in Sport, a professor of sports
management at Menlo College and the Director of Basketball Analytics
and Research for the Oklahoma City Thunder of the NBA. He has
published academic research in football, basketball and baseball, and has
presented sports related work at the annual conventions of the Society
for American Baseball Research, the American Statistical Society and
the New England Symposium on Statistics in Sports. Additionally he has
consulted for teams in the NBA and NFL and provided statistical
analysis for author Michael Lewis for his recent book The Blind Side.
Professor Alamar is an award winning economist who has worked
academically and professionally in intellectual property valuation,
public finance and public health. He received his PhD in economics
from the University of California at Santa Barbara in 2001.
